Abstract

It’s a new year and a great time to recommit to those resolutions you’ve probably already forgotten—and perhaps even add a few more. Why not make improving your well-being one of your goals for 2019? You might have noticed that “mindfulness” or “mindfulness meditation” is having a moment in our culture and profession—many people are touting its benefits, from improved focus and productivity, to reduced stress levels, to achieving a greater sense of calm and presence at work and in your personal life. We know from recent research that these benefits are possible through a regular mindfulness practice, and it has never been easier to get started on this particular path to well-being.
