McLaren was nominated to serve on the American Bar Association's Board of Governors representing the Ninth United States Court Circuit; short bios of three recently deceased members; recent changes on the Superior Court bench; new professional connections; lectures on historical and contemporary legal systems by Dr. Ernst Levy, Professor of Roman Law; the American Law Institute's Restatement of Property and annotations to Washington cases; and an amended rule of the Washington State Supreme Court.
