Abstract
The subject of the retirement age of judges has been a matter of consideration in a rather vigorous way for some four or five years. I have been chairman of this Committee for several years and we have had to appraise the various viewpoints of the Bar and Bench in trying to arrive at a result that would be a representative consensus of opinion.
